United Book Distributors (UBD) is our state-of-the-art automated and paperless warehouse and distribution facility located in Scoresby, Victoria. The ‘paperless’ warehouse utilises the latest technology material handling systems and software; providing fast order turnaround for our trade publishers as well as the ability to deliver goods next day for the nearby direct to consumer market. UBD’s operations can hold in excess of 55,000 titles and 22 million books and on its busiest days completes orders comprising more than 600,000 books and related items.

In addition to this, UBD is fully committed to ensuring our processes are of the highest eco-friendly standards. In 2011 UBD attained ISO14001 accreditation for its Sustainable practices in operating and managing a distribution business. In 2013 UBD was named Distributor of the Year at the Australian Book Industry Awards for the fifth consecutive year.
